JJB’s last gig was a resounding success. It was held on Saturday night 28th May 2011 at the South Beach Hotel, South Fremantle. This is a great venue set in the main dining room of the impressive old federation pub which has become a regular base for the band over the past few years. We played to a very responsive enthusiastic audience – a boisterous mob. They were dancing on the dance floor and between the tables.
We performed three sets which included quite a few new songs we have been working on and which were well received. We were fortunate in having Stella, Paz’s sister, get up and join us for a few songs in the last bracket. Stella has been singing professionally for some years and she certainly brought an extra dimension to the gig. Thanks Stella.
Thanks to all those that came along for a great night. The guys in the band (Peter, Bill, Paul, Paz and Sean) really appreciate your support and the energy you bring to our gigs.
You can look forward to having a good time next time you come along to one of our gigs.
